“We stayed at Safe Haven during the June bank holiday weekend, we couldn’t have wished for a more amazing stay and host! All the rooms were pristine, spacious and had beautiful robes and slippers in each room. The house felt like a home and we were all very comfortable very quick. The kitchen had everything and was equip with every utensil you could think of. Each morning Mark made us an amazing breakfast which was such a treat to wake up to. We will definitely be back. Would highly recommend, you need to stay here if you’re going to Carlingford”

'We booked The Safe Haven 2 months in advance and where in contact with Mark who helped us with all our questions. He has a good knowledge of the local area, where to eat and places to visit. We booked the whole house for a weekend, and nothing was too hard for Mark to sort out. There were 14 of us, and the kids loved it! Nice and clean and plenty to do within a few miles. We also had visitors from Canada and America and they raved about it too. Better than any hotel. Mark even sorted out breakfast for us too. Would highly recommend this holiday home. True Irish hospitality. Keep up the good work Mark! Would stay here again for sure.

This place is amazing! Mark could not do enough for us, before we arrived we got told all the best places to eat and taxi numbers etc, got to our room and there was any amount of tea coffee biscuits not to mention the beautiful bottled water that comes from the well, it was delicious. Mark was soo helpful, we don’t normally eat breakfast but I would highly recommend the food it was delicious as my husband said it was the nicest breakfast he has had in a long time. You would not go hungry from continental to full English/Irish.. the food was amazing. Sitting outside looking at the amazing views of the mountains was priceless. The accommodation is spotless, and nothing was any hassle for mark to direct or advise you on things. I would highly highly recommend this property to stay in Carlingford so much so that when we return to Ireland this will be our first port of call. Also mark u should be proud of the business you run. It’s first class!! From Richard
